General Clark did a town hall meeting in Iowa on Monday, October 6, 2003. Hear It From The Heartland forum sponsored by Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin

I agree with the Americans with Disabilities Act and I think it is great legislation. I have seen the impact of it across the nation and we need to establish a level playing field for people with disabilities. I will work with you Senator Harkin to make the act stronger! They are like anyone else that has a lot to contribute and just needs to be given a chance to do so. General Clark paraphrased.

"And we're going to talk straight to the American people. Because in times of historic challenges, the American people deserve to hear the truth and hear it in plain and simple language. And in this campaign, we're going to bring people together, in the great tradition of the Democratic Party because now we need leaders, more than ever before, leaders who will put the interests of all our people first.

And when I say we're going to bring people together, I mean all people, not just Democrats, but Independents, and Republicans, too. And especially those who have never participated before. You'll come with us." - Clark Announcement Speech.

This includes Americans with Disabilities, so get involved with the campaign in some way!
